Context

The MyBills app aims to provide users with a comprehensive platform to pay, manage, and track their bills. The app offers features such as bill reminders, automated transactions through subscriptions, and analytical insights to help users maintain control over their spendings.

Challenge

The challenge is to enhance the MyBills app by introducing additional features and improving user onboarding, communication, and accessibility. The goal is to create a collective experience for users to interact with the Tokopedia Digital ecosystem, while providing value in maintaining their billings and gaining insights into their spendings.

Outcome

To address the challenge, three key strategies have been proposed:

1. Add and Strengthen Feature USP: This strategy focuses on enhancing the capabilities of Bill Management. It includes features such as synchronized lists of managed bills, auto-recharge subscriptions, promotional benefits, collaborative bill management, and analytical tools for spending analysis and recommendations.

2. Improve User Onboarding, Communication, and Discoverability: This strategy aims to improve the user experience by relocating entry points, offering quick subscription activation, providing detailed view notifications, and implementing a subscription consent page. The goal is to make bill management more accessible and convenient for users.

3. Personalization: This strategy focuses on providing a personalized experience for each user. It includes fully customized autodebet schemes, additional payment methods for subscriptions, and a secondary payment method option for backup during transactions.

Impact

The proposed solutions are expected to have several impacts, including increased adoption of bill management, higher retention rates, improved success rates for subscriptions, and enhanced user satisfaction. The introduction of promotional benefits, personalized features, and collaboration with other teams within Tokopedia will further contribute to the growth and success of the MyBills app.
