By implementing this state-of-the-art solution, GoTo is not only enhancing the security and privacy of its users but also setting new standards in the industry. Challenge

The challenge was to create a unified and user-friendly verification experience that meets the needs of different users, considering their preferences and security requirements. GoTo aimed to simplify the verification process while ensuring a high level of security and preventing fraudulent activities.

Additionally, we strive to enhance the user experience by reducing verification costs and encouraging users to opt for free verification methods. By providing options like Biometrics and GoTo PIN at no cost, we enable users to access secure verification without incurring any additional charges from the company.

Outcome

The GoTo Unified Verification system offers a range of verification methods, including OTP SMS, OTP Email, OTP WhatsApp, GoTo PIN, Tokopedia PIN, and Password. Users can choose the method that suits their current situation and preferences. The system also provides automatic verification method selection for a seamless experience when there is only one available option. For example I created the full flow for each verification method.

To ensure user convenience, GoTo implemented features like OTP code autofill prompts, resend OTP options, and the ability to reset PINs and passwords. Additionally, users can activate Trusted Device Login for faster access on trusted devices.

To ensure a seamless and consistent user experience, GoTo has designed a Unified Verification system to align with the design systems of its three main apps: Gojek, GoPay, and Tokopedia. While each app maintains its unique branding and design language, the verification module has been centralized to provide a unified and cohesive experience across all platforms.

By utilizing the respective design systems of Gojek, GoPay, and Tokopedia, the verification process seamlessly integrates into the main user journeys, such as login and transactions. This approach allows users to navigate through the verification process without any disruptions, ensuring continuity and familiarity.

The design team has worked diligently to create a visually cohesive and intuitive interface that reflects the distinctive branding of each app while maintaining a centralized system for verification.
